2009 세계옥상녹화대회, 독일에서 5월에 개최
오는 5월 25일부터 27일까지 독일 슈트투가르트의 뉘르팅겐에서는 제2회 세계옥상녹화대회(International Green Roof Congress 2009)이 개최된다. 이 행사는 IFLA(세계조경가협회)와 EFLA(유럽조경가협회)가 지원하고 있다.
이 대회에서는 “최근 옥상녹화 기술의 발달과 범위의 확대”를 주제로 학술 발표가 있을 예정이다. 또한 다양한 분야에서 인정받고 있는 세계 옥상녹화 전문가들이 건축가, 디자이너, 경관계획가, 정책결정자 등과 함께 옥상녹화의 현황과 미래 경향에 대해 진지한 토론을 벌이게 된다.
지금까지 지속가능한 건축에 있어서 옥상녹화 분야 만큼 빠르게 기술의 혁신과 발전을 이룬 사례가 없다. 이번 토론과 강연회에서는 옥상녹화의 표준과 세계적인 경향은 물론, 세계적으로 매우 유명한 건축회사가 제안한 매혹적인 디자인 프로젝트도 선보이게 될 것이다.
약 30개의 강연과 3개의 답사프로그램, 2개의 워크샵 등 참가자들을 만족시킬만한 높은 수준의 행사가 준비되어 있다.
등록비는 양일에 걸쳐 약 450유로 정도이며, 하루 티켓이 270유로이다. 2월 28일 이전에 등록하는 사람에게는 약 20%의 할인 혜택이 제공된다.

Greetings, IFLA and EFLA are official supporters of the International Green Roof Congress 2009. As such, your members are provided with a 20% discount on the congress tickets. In order to make use of this discount they are requested to choose the ticket option "host and supporters" at the online registration tool and select “IFLA” from the drop down list ("Promotionscode"). Futhermore, they can also benefit from the early bird discount if they register before the 28th of February. The congress programme is really outstanding. It will offer 30 lectures, three excursions and two workshops, which will deliver a high level of practical experience for the participants (see IGRC-flyer). In addition the Green Roofs of Fusionopolis (Singapore), EXPO Zaragoza 2008 (Spain), Warta Headquarters in Warsaw (Poland) and the Etrium in Cologne (Germany) will be presented.
