도시의 오아시스, 하마리큐 온시 정원
강호철 교수의 '세계 도시의 녹색환경과 문화&경관' - 13라펜트l강호철 교수l기사입력2014-05-20
에도시대의 대표적인 정원으로 도쿠가와 장군가 (家)의 별장이 있던 곳이다. 메이지유신 후에는 황실의 별궁이 되어 이름이 하마리큐가 되었다.
관동대지진과 전쟁 등에 의해 손상된 것을 도쿄도[東京都]가 정비하여 1946년에 공개되었다.1952년에 일본의 특별명승지 및 특별사적으로 지정되었다. 바닷물을 끌어와 만든 조수 연못과 2개의 오리사냥터 카모바[鴨場]가 있다.
특히 조수가 든 연못에 떠있는 섬의 찻집에서 맛보는 말차가 인기로, 다도를 즐기는 강호철 교수가 즐겨찾는 곳이기도 하다.
하마리큐온시 정원은 고층빌딩 숲 속에 역사와 문화, 녹지가 함께 숨쉬는 도심내 오아시스이다.
