“유럽경관협약(European Landscape Convention)의 지역적 실행” 개최
오는 2009년 5월 27일부터 30일까지 체코 South Bohemia의 Nove Hrady에서는 유럽경관협약(이하 ELC)의 지역적 실행에 공헌하기 위해 처음으로 국제 컨퍼런스가 개최된다.

컨퍼런스의 목표와 목적
이번 컨퍼런스에서 추구하는 바는 비영리 단체, 지역 정부, ELC를 후원하는 생태박물관, 그리고 ELC의 지역적 실행과 완성에 대해 더 배우고 싶어 하는 사람들을 한 자리에 모으고, 어떻게 비영리단체와 생태박물관이 실행을 도울 수 있는지 알리고자 하는 데에 있다.

목적은 다음과 같다.
- 경관 관측소, 지역 정부, 그리고 생태박물관 및 비영리단체와 같은 활동가들이 ELC 실행의 좋은 사례를 공유하는 것;
- ELC의 목표를 생태박물관과 지역의 비영리단체가 지역 정부 당국에 전달하는 기회를 통해 인식을 높이는 것;
- 유럽회의(the Council of Europe)의 60주년을 축하하고 ELC의 실행의 진보를 되새겨 보는 것;
- 그리고 컨퍼런스의 결과를 출판하고, ELC 실행의 좋은 사례를 널리 알리는 것 등이다.

▲지역의 백년 이상된 오래된 양어지가 서서히 인공적이며 얕은 호수로 개발된다. 현재 그들 중의 상당수는 자연보호지역이나 람사르 대상지로 보호되고 있다. 이것이 바로 자연적 가치와 인공적인 개발 사이의 조화로운 연결의 예이다.

Local Implementation of the European Landscape Convention

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the first international Conference dedicated to the local implementation of the European Landscape Convention, to be held in Nove Hrady, South Bohemia, Czech Republic, on 27-30 May 2009.

Goals and Objectives of the Conference

The aim of the Conference is to bring together key players from non-profits, Local Authorities, and ecomuseums in support of the European Landscape Convention and those who wish to learn more about the local, practical implementation of the ELC and how, for example ecomuseums or non-profits can help with this.

The objectives are to:

share views about good practices in the implementation of the ELC among landscape observatories, local / regional authorities, and other local players like ecomuseums and non-profits;

raise awareness among local and regional authorities of the opportunities provided by ecomuseums and local non-profits to deliver the objectives of the ELC;

celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Council of Europe and to review progress in the implementation of the ELC; and

publish outcomes of the Conference and disseminate good practice in the implementation of the ELC.
