| With the continued integration through scientification and the progress I the technology of construction around the world Korea's inability to stay within the mainstream of the movement has put it in danger of losing it's very identity. As such Korean cityscapes are filled with overwhelming prevalence of buildings and constructs void of national identity but rather reflective of unconditional application of the western standards of architecture which has so far been the compass of the movement. Accordingly the purpose of this research is the understanding of the current world view concerning of architecture the critical regionalism through the examination of the background of theory which reflect the architectural Kenneth Prampton and also through Ricardo Legorrata Charles Correa Antoine Predock's analysis. Furthermore this research hopes to explore and offer a methodology through which a unique Korean identity can be established in Korea's Modern architecture. |
