±¤¸ª½£ ¾çÄ¡½Ä¹°À» Áß½ÉÀ¸·Î ÇÑ ÁýÁßÀûÀÎ Á¶»ç¸¦ ÅëÇÏ¿© ÀÌ Áö¿ª¿¡ ºÐÆ÷ÇÏ´Â ¾çÄ¡½Ä¹°À» Á¤È®È÷ ¹àÈ÷°íÀÚ ÇÏ¿´´Ù. ±¤¸ª½£¿¡´Â 9°ú 17¼Ó 43Á¾ 3º¯Á¾ ÃÑ 46Á¾·ùÀÇ ¾çÄ¡½Ä¹°ÀÌ ºÐÆ÷Çϰí ÀÖÀ¸¸ç, Áö¿ªº° ÃâÇö½Ä¹°À» º¸¸é, ¼è¶ß±â, °í»ç¸®»ï µî 26Á¾·ù°¡ ±¤¸ª½£ ÀüÁö¿ª¿¡ °ÉÃÄ ºÐÆ÷ÇÏ´Â °ÍÀ¸·Î ³ªÅ¸³µÀ¸¸ç, ²æ°íºñ, Áö¸®°³°üÁß µî 5Á¾·ù°¡ ¼Ò¸®ºÀ Àϴ븦 Áß½ÉÀ¸·Î ÇÏ¿© ÇÑÁ¤ ºÐÆ÷ÇÏ´Â °ÍÀ¸·Î ³ªÅ¸³µ´Ù. ¶Ç, »ê¸²µ¿¹°¿ø °è°îºÎ¸¦ Áß½ÉÀ¸·Î ³¬½Ã°í»ç¸®, ±¤¸ªÁ·Á¦ºñ°í»ç¸® µîÀÌ ºÐÆ÷ÇÏ¿´°í, ¿ÕÁö³×°í»ç¸®, Âü»õ¹ß°í»ç¸® µîÀº ¿Ü±¹¼ö¸ñ¿ø ÀÏ´ë¿¡ ±¹ÇÑµÈ ºÐÆ÷¿ªÀ» Çü¼ºÇϰí ÀÖ¾ú´Ù. »ýȰÇüÀ» º¸¸é, ÈÞ¸éÇü(Domancy form)Àº H(Hemicryptophyte)ÀÇ ºñÀ²ÀÌ 56.5%·Î °¡Àå ³ô¾ÒÀ¸¸ç, HH(Hydatophyte)°¡ 2.2%·Î °¡Àå ³·Àº °ªÀ» º¸¿´´Ù. ¹ø½ÄÇü(Propagation form)ÀÇ ÁöÇϱâ°üÇü(Radicoid form)Àº ´ëºÎºÐÀÌ ±Ù°æÀÌ Âª°Ô ºÐÁöÇÏ°í °¡Àå Á¼Àº ¹üÀ§ÀÇ ¿¬°áü¸¦ °®´Â $R_3$À¸·Î 39.1%À̸ç, ±Ù°æÀÌ ¿·À¸·Î ¹ù°í ¾à°£ ³ÐÀº ¹üÀ§ÀÇ ¿¬°áü¸¦ °®´Â $R_2$°¡ 2.2%À̾ú°í, »êÆ÷±â°üÇü(Disseminule form)Àº ¸ðµÎ Æ÷ÀÚ°¡ ¹Ù¶÷À̳ª ¹°¿¡ ÀÇÇØ ¿î¹ÝµÇ´Â $D_1$À̾ú´Ù. »ýÀ°Çü(Growth form)Àº t(Tussock)¿Í e(Erect)°¡ °¢°¢ 67.4%¿Í 32.6%·Î ³ªÅ¸³ª ±¤¸ª½£ ¾çÄ¡½Ä¹°ÀÇ ´ëÇ¥ÀûÀÎ »ýȰÇüÀº $H-R_{3}-D_{1}-t$·Î Á¤¸®µÇ¾ú´Ù. ±¤¸ª½£ÀÇ ¾çÄ¡½Ä¹°°è¼ö(Ptph.-Q.)´Â 1.28·Î Çѹݵµ ÁߺÎÁö¿ª°ú ºñ±³ÇÏ¿´À» ¶§ »ó´ëÀûÀ¸·Î ´Ù¼Ò ³ôÀº ¼öÄ¡¸¦ º¸À̰í ÀÖ¾î, ÀÌ Áö¿ªÀÌ Çмú¸²À¸·Î¼­ ¾ÈÁ¤ÀûÀ¸·Î º¸Àü °ü¸®µÇ°í ÀÖÀ½À» ¾Ë¼ö ÀÖ´Ù.
To understand the status of ferns' distribution of Gwangneung forest, flora survey was done during the period of April 2003 to November 2005. The results obtained from this study were as follows: Ferns identified and surveyed were 46 taxa including 9 families 17 genera 43 species 3 varieties were recorded in Gwangneung Forest. Hemicryrtophyte (H) was the most common dormancy from recorded in surveyed area. Epiphyte (E) and Hydatophyte (HH) were calculated as 4.3%, 2.2%, respectively and they were the lower value compared to those of other dormancy form. Consequently, $H-R_{3}-D_{1}-t$ was recorded as the most common life-form of ferns in Gwangneung Forest. Pteridophyta-Quotient (Ptph.-Q.) was calculated as 1.28 and it was the higher value compared to those of other neighboring mountains.
