Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography¸¦ ÀÌ¿ëÇÏ¿© Áٱ⠺ÎÀ§ÀÇ ÃßÃâ¹°À» 12°³ÀÇ fractionÀ¸·Î ºÐ¸®ÇÏ¿© Ç×»êÈ´ÉÀ» ÃøÁ¤ÇÑ °á°ú, fraction No.3ÀÌ °¡Àå ³ôÀº Ç×»êÈ È°¼ºÀ» ³ªÅ¸³»¾úÀ¸¸ç, ¿Ì³ª¹«°¡ 1.5, ºÓ³ª¹«°¡ 1.9, °³¿Ì³ª¹«°¡ 2.3 ug/$mell$ DPPH°¡¸¦ ³ªÅ¸³»¾ú´Ù. ÁÙ±â ÃßÃâ¹°·ÎºÎÅÍ 2-propenoic acid (Caffeic acid), Benzoic acid (Gallic acid), 7-hydroxy-6- methoxy-2H-1-Benzopyran-2-one (Scopoletin) µî°ú °°Àº phenol°è ¹°ÁúµéÀÌ µ¿Á¤µÇ¾ú´Ù. ¿Ì³ª¹«¼Ó 3Á¾ÀÇ ºÎÀ§º° POD Ȱ¼º Àº ÀÙ¿¡ ºñÇØ Áٱ⿡¼ 193¹è Ȱ¼ºÀÌ ³ô°Ô ³ªÅ¸³µ°í Á¾°£¿¡´Â ºÓ³ª¹«°¡ 0.58 unit/mg protein·Î °¡Àå ³ô°Ô ³ªÅ¸³µÀ¸¸ç ¿Ì³ª¹«, °³¿Ì³ª¹« ¼øÀ¸·Î ³ô°Ô ³ªÅ¸³µ´Ù. SOD Ȱ¼ºÀº ¿Ì³ª¹«¿Í ºÓ³ª¹«ÀÇ ÀÙ¿¡ ºñÇØ Áٱ⿡¼ ³ôÀº Ȱ¼ºÀÌ ³ªÅ¸³µÀ¸³ª,°³¿Ì³ª¹«´Â ÀÙÀÌ Áٱ⿡ ºñÇØ 25¹è ³ô°Ô ³ªÅ¸³µ´Ù. |

| Comparison of the antioxidant potential and enzyme activities of the extracts of Rhus showed considerable differences. The antioxidative activities of Rhus javanica were the highest of three species tried (7 $mu extrm{g}$/$mell$). The highest activities showed in fraction No.3 of 12 fractions by Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography and the antioxidative activity showed, in purified extract of each stem,1.5 $mu extrm{g}$/$mell$ (in Rhus verniciflua), 1.9 $mu extrm{g}$/$mell$ (in Rhus javanica) and 2.3 $mu extrm{g}$/$mell$ (in Rhus tricocarpa) respectively. These were identificated as phenolic compounds which are well known antioxidant compounds such as 2-propenoic acid (Caffeic acid), Benzoic acid (Gallic acid), 7-hydroxy- 6methoxy-2H-1-Benzopyran-2-one (Scopoletin). POD activities of stem were higher than leaf. Especially, POD activity in stem of Rhus javanica was 193 times higher than leaf. Rhus tricocarpa, however, showed very low POD activity. SOD activities of stem were higher than that of leaf in Rhus javanica and Rhus verniciflua but in Rhus tricocarpa, the activity of leaf was 25 times higher than that of stem. |
