DOC¿Í POCÀÇ ¼öÁ÷ºÐÆ÷´Â È«¼ö±âÁ÷Èĸ¦ Á¦¿ÜÇÏ°í °ÅÀÇ ±ÕÀÏÇÏ¿´´Ù. ½Ä¹°Çöûũſ°ú DOCÀÇ °ü°è´Â ½Ä¹°Çöûũſ°ú POCÀÇ °ü°è¸¸Å­ ¶Ñ·ÇÇÏÁö ¾ÊÁö¸¸ DOC³óµµÀÇ Áõ°¡¿¡ ½Ä¹°ÇöûũſÀÌ ÀϺΠ±â¿©ÇÒ °ÍÀ¸·Î ÃßÁ¤µÈ´Ù. ±×¸®°í ÁßÃþ°ú ½ÉÃþÀÇ ³ôÀº ³óµµÀÇ DOC°¡ Èï¼ö±â ÀÌÈÄ¿¡ È¥ÇÕÃþÀÌ ±í¾îÁö¸é¼­ Ç¥ÃþÀ¸·Î È®»êµÇ¾î 1¿ù±îÁö Ç¥ÃþÀÇ ³ôÀº DOC³óµµ¸¦ À¯ÁöÇϴµ¥ ±â¿©ÇÒ °¡´É¼ºÀÌ ÃßÁ¤µÈ´Ù. ¼Ò¾çÈ£ÀÇ DOC:POC ºñ´Â È«¼ö±â¿Í Á÷ÈÄ¿¡ ¼Ò¾çÈ£·Î À¯ÀÔµÈ Å¹·ùÀÇ ¿µÇâ°ú ½Ä¹°ÇöûũſÀÇ ´ë·®Áõ½ÄÀ¸·Î ÀÎÇØ ÁßÃþ°ú Ç¥Ãþ¿¡¼­ ³·Àº °ªÀ» º¸¿´´Ù. ¼Ò¾çÈ£ ´ï¾Õ¿¡¼­´Â DOC°¡ ÃÑÀ¯±â¹°ÀÇ ´ëºÎºÐÀ» Â÷ÁöÇß°í, POC´Â 10% Á¤µµ¿´´Ù.
Seasonal and vertical distributions of dissolved and particulate organic carbon were investigated from May 1995 to March 1997 in a deep mesotrophic reservoir, Lake Soyang. POC concentrations at the dam site ranged from 0.1 to 1.6 mgC/l and DOC concentrations ranged from 1.4 to 4.5 mgC/l. POC concentrations in the surface layer were higher in the season of cyanobacterial bloom, July to September. High POC was observed at the depth of 30 to 60 m after storm runoff in summer monsoon season. Turbid storm runoff formed intermediate current laden with much particulate materials from terrestrial sources. The vertical and seasonal variation of DOC was smaller than POC. Higher DOC was observed near the lake bottom which implies sedimentation and degradation of much organic detritus at the bottom. The ratio of DOC:POC varied from 2 to 60, and the ratio was lowest in September 1995 when algal density was highest. DOC:POC ratio of the main inflowing river, the Soyang River, varied from 1 to 10, and the ratio was low in storm runoff when the POC concentration was high.
