ÀüÇüÀûÀÎ µµ½Ã±Ù±³ ÇÏõ(Á¶¸¸°­)¿¡¼­ ¼öÁúÀÇ ¿À¿°¾ç»óÀ» 93³â 6¿ùºÎÅÍ 94³â 9¿ù±îÁö Á¶»çÇÏ¿´´Ù. ¿¬Æò±Õ BOD ³óµµ´Â 9.3 mg $O_2/l$·Î 5±Þ¼ö¿´°í, TN, TP ¹× $chi-{alpha}$´Â °¢°¢ 4.6 mg N/l, $239;{mu}/l$ $104;{mu}/l$·Î °ú¿µ¾ç»óÅ¿´À¸¸ç, alkalinity, DO, Åõ¸íµµ, TSS µî ´Ù¸¥ ¼öÁúÀÎÀÚµµ ºÎ¿µ¾çÈ­ Ư¼ºÀÌ Àß ³ªÅ¸³µ´Ù. ¿¬Æò±Õ TN/TPÀÇ ºñ´Â 19·Î¼­ P°¡ Á¶·ùÀÇ »ýÀåÀ» Á¦ÇÑÇÏ´Â ¿äÀÎÀ¸·Î ÀÛ¿ëÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖÀ½À» ½Ã»çÇÑ´Ù. ¿¬Æò±Õ Áú¼ÒÈ­ÇÕ¹° ³óµµ¿¡¼­ ¹«±âÁú¼Ò°¡ 66%, À¯±âÁú¼Ò´Â 34% Â÷ÁöÇÏ¿´°í ¹«±âÁú¼Ò Áß¿¡¼­ ¾Ï¸ð´Ï¾Æ°¡ 63%, Áú»ê¿°ÀÌ 37%¿´´Ù. Áö·ù Áß¿¡¼­ ÇØ¹ÝõÀÇ Áú¼Ò¿Í ÀκÎÇÏ·®ÀÌ °¡Àå ÄÇÀ¸¸ç ÇØ¹ÝõÀÇ $NH_4$´Â º»·ùº¸´Ù 3.5¹è ÀÌ»ó ³ô°Ô, TP³óµµ´Â º»·ùº¸´Ù 2.5¹è ³ôÀº ³óµµ·Î À¯ÀԵǾú´Ù. »ýȰÇϼö°¡ À¯ÀÔµÇ´Â ÇØ¹Ýõ¿¡¼­ ¹«±âÁú¼Ò ¶Ç´Â ÀÎÀÌ Â÷ÁöÇÏ´Â ºñÀ²ÀÌ ¸Å¿ì ³ô¾Ò´Ù. ´ã¼öÁ¶·ù´Â ¿©¸§¿¡ ³²Á¶·ù Microcystis, °Ü¿ï¿¡ ±ÔÁ¶·ù Stephanodiscus°¡ ¹ø¹«ÇÏ´Â µî ¿À¿°ÁöÇ¥¼º Á¶·ù°¡ ´ë¹ß»ýÇÏ´Â ¼ö°è¿´´Ù. $Chi-{alpha}$·®Àº °èÀý¿¡ µû¸¥ ÀüÇüÀûÀÎ º¯µ¿À» ã¾Æº¼ ¼ö ¾ø¾ú°í º½ °¡À»º¸´Ù °Ü¿ï¿¡ ÇöÁ¸·®ÀÌ ´õ ³ô¾Ò´Ù.
Water eutrophication was monitored from June 1993 to September 1994 in the Choman River which is typical urban river near Kimhae City. Annual mean concentration of BOD was 9.3 mg $O_2/l$ and classified as ranks fifth based on water quality standard in Korea. Annual mean concentrations of TN, TP and chlorophyll-a were 4.0 mg N/l, $239;{mu}g;P/l$ and $104;{mu}g/l$ respectively, these parameters indicate that this river is hypertrophic condition. The variation of other environmental factors such as alkalinity, DO, water transparency and TSS showed a typical eutrophic patterns. Annual mean ratio of TN/TP was nineteen; therefore P would limit the algal growth. Inorganic and organic nitrogen comprised 66%, and 34% of TN respectively. Ammonia and nitrate comprised 63%, and 37% of inorganic nitrogen respectively. Nitrogen and phosphorus loadings from Haeban stream, which is river basin of the Kimhae City, were greater than those of any other tributaries in the Choman River. Ammonia concentration of Haeban stream was 3.5 fold than main river. Total phosphorus of Haeban stream concentration was 2.5 fold of that of main river. Blue-green Microcystis bloomed in summer and diatom Stephanodiscus in winter. Typical seasonal variation of $chlorophyll-{alpha}$ concentration was not found and standing crop in winter was higher than that in spring and autumn.
