ÀÌ ¿¬±¸ÀÇ ÁÖµÈ ¸ñÀûÀº ±¸·Ê ³óÃÌÁö¿ª¿¡ ¼½ÄÇÏ´Â 1½ÖÀÇ ³Ê±¸¸®(Nyctereutes procyonoides koreensis) Çൿ±ÇÀ» ÃøÁ¤Çϰí ÀÌÀü ³Ê±¸¸® ¿¬±¸¿Í ºñ±³Çϴµ¥ ÀÖ´Ù. ¿ø°Ý¹«¼±ÃßÀûÀº 2°³Ã¼ÀÇ ³Ê±¸¸®¸¦ ÀÌ¿ëÇÏ¿© 2°³¿ù °£°Ý(2000³â 6, 8, 10, 12¿ù)À¸·Î 2ÀϾ¿ ÁÖ±âÀûÀ¸·Î ¼öÇàµÇ¾ú´Ù. ¸ð´ÏÅ͸µ ±â°£ µ¿¾È, ¹«¼±ÃßÀûÀº ÁÖ°£°ú ¾ß°£¿¡ °ÉÃÄ º¸Åë $1{sim}3$½Ã°£ °£°ÝÀ¸·Î ½Ç½ÃµÇ¾ú´Ù. Àüü $46{sim}64$°³ÀÇ ¹«¼±ÃßÀû ÀÚ·áÀÇ ºÐ¼® °á°ú´Â 95% ÃÖ¼Òº¼·Ï´Ù°¢Çü(MCP) ¹æ¹ý¿¡¼ 1½ÖÀÇ ³Ê±¸¸®ÀÇ ÀüüÇൿ±Ç Å©±â°¡ $0.41km^2$, Æò±ÕÇൿ±Ç Å©±â°¡ $0.32km^2$ÀÓÀ» º¸¿©ÁÖ¾ú´Ù. ¾ÏÄÆ°ú ¼öÄÆÀÇ Çൿ±ÇÀº »ó´ç ºÎºÐ ÁßøµÇ¾ú°í(¾à $70{sim}95%$), Çൿ±Ç Å©±â´Â ¼·Î À¯»çÇÑ ¾ç»óÀ» ³ªÅ¸³»¾ú´Ù. ±×·¯³ª ÁÖ°£$(0.01km^2)$°ú ¾ß°£$(0.35km^2)$ÀÇ Çൿ±Ç Å©±â´Â ¸Å¿ì Å« Â÷À̸¦ º¸¿´°í, ¿©¸§$(0.56km^2)$¿¡ °¡Àå ÄÇÁö¸¸ °Ü¿ï$(<0.01km^2)$¿¡ °¡Àå ÀÛ¾Ò´Ù. The primary aim of this study is to estimate the home range of a pair of raccoon dogs(Nyctereutes procyonoides koreensis) and to compare with the previous study of raccoon dogs in a rural area of Gurye, the southern part of South Korea. Radiotracking was regularly carried out on 2 raccoon dogs for 2 days every 2 months(in June, August, October and December, 2006). During the 2 days, radiotracking was usually conducted every $1{sim}3$ hours through day and night. The analysis of tracking data with a total of $46{sim}64$ bearings showed that the total home range size of the pair was $0.41km^2$, and mean home range size was $0.32km^2$ by 95% minimum convex polygons(MCP) estimate. The home ranges of the male and female were largely overlapping(about $70{sim}95%$), and the sizes were not very much different from each other. However, there was a big difference between day $(0.01km^2)$ and night-time $(0.35km^2)$ home ranges, and it was largest in summer$(0.56km^2)$ and smallest in winter $(<0.01km^2)$. In addition, the home range of the pair included 1 core area and 4 different feeding areas. In conclusion, our raccoon dog home range data using the same individuals but with more frequent bearings per day and more extended tracking intervals still showed very similar results to the previous study with less frequent bearings per day and more extensive tracking days. |
