°øÁÖ ±Ù±³ÀÇ 15³â µÈ À㳪¹« Á¶¸²Áö¿¡¼­ ¹°Áú»ý»êÀ» ÅëÇÑ Åº¼Ò°íÁ¤·®°ú Åä¾çÈ£ÈíÀ» ÅëÇÑ Åº¼Ò ¹æÃâ·®À» Á¶»çÇÏ¿´´Ù. ¿¬ ¼ø»ý»ê·®Àº »ó´ë»ýÀå¹ý¿¡ ÀÇÇØ º¸°íµÈ ¹°Áú»ý»ê ½ÄÀ» ÀÌ¿ëÇÏ¿© ÃøÁ¤Çϰí À̰ÍÀ» ÀÌ»êȭź¼ÒÀÇ °íÁ¤·®(¼ø Èí¼ö·®)À¸·Î ȯ»êÇÏ¿´´Ù. À̵é ÀڷḦ ±âÁØÀ¸·Î À㳪¹« Á¶¸²ÁöÀÇ Åº¼Ò¼öÁö¸¦ ÆÄ¾ÇÇÏ¿´´Ù. Á¶»çÁö¿ª À㳪¹« Á¶¸²ÁöÀÇ ¿¬ ¼ø»ý»ê·®Àº 25.7t¡¤ha/sup -1/¡¤yr/sup -1/À̾úÀ¸¸ç, À̸¦ CO©ü·®À¸·Î ȯ»êÇÑ °á°ú ¿¬°£ CO©ü °íÁ¤·®Àº 42.5 t CO©ü¡¤ha/sup -1/¡¤yr/sup -1/À̾ú´Ù. À㳪¹« Á¶¸²Áö ´ëÁ¶±¸ÀÇ ¿¬°£ ÃÑ È£Èí·®Àº 5.0 t CO©ü¡¤ha/sup -1/¡¤yr/sup -1/À̾ú´Ù. ¿¬°£ ÀÌ »êȭź¼Ò ¹ß»ý·® Áß ³«¿±ÃþÀÇ ±â¿©µµ´Â ÀüüÀÇ 32.0%, »Ñ¸®ÀÇ ±â¿©µµ´Â 46.0%À̾ú´Ù. ÀÓ¸ñ¹Ðµµ¿¡ µû¶ó ¿¬ ¼ø»ý»ê·®¿¡ Â÷À̰¡ ÀÖÁö¸¸ º» Á¶»çÁö¿ªÀÇ °æ¿ì CO©ü¼ø Èí¼ö·®°ú Åä¾çÈ£Èí¿¡ ÀÇÇÑ ¹æÃâ·®ÀÇ Â÷ÀÌ´Â 37.5 t CO©ü¡¤ha/sup -1/¡¤yr/sup -1/·Î »ï¸²ÀÌ ´ë±â ÁßÀÇ ÀÌ»êȭź¼Ò¸¦ °¨¼Ò½ÃÅ´À» ¾Ë ¼ö ÀÖ´Ù.
Amounts of CO©ü fixed by net primary production and released by soil respiration were determined on big-cone pine plantation. Net primary production, which was determined by allometric method, was converted into CO©ü. CO©ü evolution in forest ecosystems are mainly through soil and root respiration. In order to separate root respiration from soil respiration, root-free sites were made in stand. Litter removal sites were prepared to estimate CO©ü evolution through litter layer. Respiration was measured at every two weeks intervals from April 2001 through April 2002, and soil temperature and soil moisture were measured at the same time. Net primary production of this big-cone pine plantation was 25.7 t¡¤ha/sup -1/¡¤yr/sup -1/. The amount of CO©ü fixed by this plantation was 42.5 t CO©ü¡¤ha/sup -1/¡¤yr/sup -1/, The amount of CO©ü released by soil respiration was 5.0 t CO©ü¡¤ha/sup -1/¡¤yr/sup -1/. The relative contribution of root respiration and litter layer respiration to total respiration was 46% and 32%, respectively. Net amount of fixed CO©ü was 37.5 t CO©ü¡¤ha/sup -1/¡¤yr/sup -1/ in this big-cone pine plantation. From this result, this big-cone pine plantation play a carbon sink source from the atmosphere.
