지난 2월 27일 인도 첸나이에서 열린 IFLA-APR ISOLA Conference 2008에서 삼성건설의 ‘성남 금광래미안’(본지 통권225호 참고)과‘과천래미안’이 각각 IFLA-APR Landscape Architects Competition 2008설계부문 Award of Excellence와 계획부문 Merit Award를 수상했다. 그 외 설계부문 President Award는 인도 M/s. Roots Landscape Architects의 ‘Mahindra Institute of Quality’가 차지했으며, 계획부문 President Award는 Tsinghua U.P.D.I의 ‘Olympic Forest Park, China’가 차지했다.
