미국조경사회 ASLA가 전문가 및 학생 부문의 공모전 참가자를 모집한다.

참가신청서 및 참가비는 전문가 부문의 경우 2011년 2월 25일(금)까지, 학생 부문의 경우 2011년 5월 6일(금)까지 제출해야 하며, 작품 제출은 전문가 부문의 경우 2011년 3월 11일까지, 학생 부문의 경우 5월 20일까지 받는다.

ASLA 공모전 중 전문가 부문은 ▲일반 디자인(General Design) ▲주거 디자인(Residential Design) ▲분석 및 계획(Analysis and Planning) ▲연구(Research) ▲커뮤니케이션(Communications) ▲랜드마크(The Landmark Award) 등 총 6개의 카테고리로 나뉜다. 

학생 부문은 ▲학생공동체 서비스(Student Community Service Award)와 ▲학생 합작(Student Collaboration) 등으로 구분하여 접수받는다.

수상자는 Landscape Architecture 매거진의 10월호에 게재될 예정이며, 이외에도 디자인 건축 및 인근 분야의 언론에도 소개된다.

수상작은 2011년 샌디에이고에서 열리는 ASLA 연례행사에 전시될 예정이며, 영상물로도 제작돼 연례 행사기간 및 웹사이트에서 상영된다.
