미국조경가협회(ASLA) 회원들이 추천한 도서목록이 공개돼 화제다. 이번에 공개된 도서목록은 총 134권에 달하며 오랜 기간에 걸쳐, 사랑 받아 온 책들로 알려져 있다.

이 중에는 한국에서 번역된 LARGE PARK도 소개되었는데, 특히 조경과 지속가능성 파트 모두에 목록화되어 눈길을 끌고 있다. 참고로 라지파크의 한국어판(배정한, 서울대학교 통합설계·미학연구실 옮김)은 지난 2010년 12월 도서출판 조경에서 펴냈다.
 
ASLA 추천도서중 조경, 지속가능성, 정원, 식물소재, 조경가, 도시디자인, 스케치 분야로 나누어 소개된 조경관련 도서들 중 조경분야의 도서가 39개로 가장 많았고 스케치 분야의 도서가 5권으로 가장 적었다.
